    Pros

Fun, travel, lucrative, meet lots of people, great perks and opportunities to grow and learn, wish I was still able to work a job like this.

    Cons

Travel alot, no home always on a cruise ship and hard to keep relationships strong when traveling all the time, hours can be long but worth it in the end.

    Advice to Management

give opportunities to many different types of people and they will work hard for you, treat them well and they will make money

    Cons

    Pros

Travel - You'll wake up one day and you're in the caribbean or hawaii or alaska, then the next you're somewhere else.
Money - The money can be great. You'll get paid in many different ways, but its mostly commission and incentives for the numbers you produce. There is a nominal base pay (nothing you can live off of). The earning potential is unlimited. Could be a life changing job.
People - You will meet people from all over the world. Make friends in every country, and learn about different cultures.

    Cons

These are all double edged swords. See why:
Travel - You are away from family anywhere from 4-6 months at a time. So you will undoubtedly miss whats going on back home.
Money - You have to produce good numbers to make good money. If you aren't producing, you won't make money.
People - Sometimes its hard working on a cruise ship where not everyone can understand exactly what you're asking/saying. So it makes a task that should be 2 minutes like 30 if you don't have good communication skills.

All in all, even the cons can be a great experience and teach you lessons that you can take with you in all of your future endeavors.

    Advice to Management

Treat the people who are out at sea with more respect. They are the ones sacrificing their lives at home, and families to be at sea making money for the company and themselves.

I worked at The PPI Group (More than a year)

    Pros

The only Pro is that it is an open environment no set scheduled time to start they have good vacation time package

    Cons

Company has a very unfriendly environment The owners are never there too busy with their travels and they own agenda. People have not received a raise in four years, yet they have plenty of money for the Yearly party, (not for the employees unless you have to work the party) This is a company that treats people like dirt unless you are there 15+ years

    Advice to Management

Start to treat you employees better the greed of this company is showing

I worked at The PPI Group full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Single owner/Small company atmosphere. Great people who want to see the company succeed. Nice office space. Flexible work/life attitude.

    Cons

Working with outdated systems/software. This is a publishing company with no content management software and crippled database management system.

    Advice to Management

Make decisions in a timely more timely manner. The paralysis created by repeated analysis of issues is frustrating. The delays in implementing anything are almost continual.
