I worked at The Parking Spot full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Great employees! I was always busy. Bonuses given every year. Great benefits.

    Cons

The Assistant Manager is a dead end position for women. Most of the General Managers are men. Area and Regional managers all have their own rules and dont follow the employee handbook. There are general manager that dont have college degrees but its a requirement for assistant managers.

    Advice to Management

GMs And AMs are supposed to be a team. Upper management should not gossip with hourly supervisors and manage in a spiteful way or use the phrase its my way my way only.

    Pros

Great coworkers and upbeat environment. Everyone was their to get the job done with positive attitudes and smiles. Sure there was down time but it wasn't as dreadful like in other places.

    Cons

The yearly raises were very small.

I worked at The Parking Spot full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Consistent pay, benefits, tips if you're a driver, minimal bonuses, and standard raises

    Cons

Customers can lie about you and get you written up or fired, management doesn't care about anyone but their favorites, schedule can change immediately, backstabbing is prevalent, and dispatchers play favorites which interferes with tips

    Advice to Management

Do not promote people because they have had relations with their superiors. Do not hire management staff that are stupid just because they can smile. Stop being about race when an applicant is better qualified for a management position. Stop lying to people when you set them up to fire them with no paper trail.

I worked at The Parking Spot full-time

    Pros

Great company, great benefits, great guests, great management. Takes care of guests and values employees.

    Cons

No breaks for cashiers. The best place to park with several locations but lowest paid. Some of the senior employees are not welcoming and unhelpful to new hires. And tend to be favored.

    Advice to Management

Higher pay . We are the best in this field. Treat everyone the same as far as respect and trust.

I have been working at The Parking Spot full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Nice people. Great benefits. That really it but I have to write a 20 word minimum so, that's about it.

    Cons

Don't pay enough I'm a former driver ,no lunch breaks when u work over night there is no pay difference and they pay little to nothing. I feel they don't value their employees. The ones that been here longer are favored. You only get a $.10 raise after a year.

    Advice to Management

Value your employees more and better pay and more pay for raises. Better pay rate. You can't expect a low turn over rate with the price you pay your employees. You can't expect employees to work and cover other workers shift with low pay rates.
