I have been working at The Peninsula Beverly Hills full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

You will receive an Experience unlike any other, the clinent and staff are diverse and will add another element. They provide a decent lunch and decent pay.

    Cons

Overload workloads, strange practices at play, don't trust anyone. Solicited la fitness plans "employee rate" always there. Parking is difficult valet style leave your keys and sometimes parking closed all together they provide quarters but limited meters nearby permit elsewhere

    Advice to Management

Open your eyes to new ideas and thought processes welcome a new age of customers and employees/management embrace change. Don't hold back talent that needs motion! Increase your base pay to be well higher than competition.

    Take care of your EMPLOYEES,
They will take care of your guest,
And your guest will take care of you.

I have been working at The Peninsula Beverly Hills as an intern (More than a year)

    Pros

The intern life at peninsula can be tough, its a lot of hard work, long hours, and there in a lot of unpredictability. No i am the person that likes change but you are not that its not for you. The can put you anywhere there is a need and you need to be flexible and patient thats all i can say.

    Cons

No visible appreciation for the interns, they don't even have appreciation for Intern of the quarter as they do for the employees. Make you feel as a second hand staff

    Advice to Management

Take care of your staff and acknowledge their success and hard work

    Pros

Reputation. That's it. Some younger management and long time line employees are nice and understanding.

    Cons

If you're on salary...dont expect to have a life. I understand that's how it is but it is definitely not an rewarding experience.

Too much corporate drama. And if you are not into serving old senile rich people who has nothing to do but harass the employees, this is not the property you'd want to expand your hotel career.

    Advice to Management

Be more considerate to your employees. We go through stress as much as you do.
