Pros
Working with a team that wants to thrive just as much as they want the company to thrive
Cons
I don’t feel as there is any cons
- Current Employee, more than 3 years★★★★★
Pros
It use to be such an awesome job before the last manager left she always got things done and treated us like she cared.
Cons
The market leader and upper management only care about lining their pockets and overstaffing this place which has now created high turnover. We use to enjoy our jobs.

Just get Experience, work on getting good time for speed waxing
Cons
This company literally drains you. They expect the most but do the least. Management lacks basic communication skills. Commission only even when store is extremely slow. Must work all day full time not optional even when it’s slow No PTO No medical benefits No sick Days No raise or Bonus Lots of gossip amongst management even though there is a “no gossip policy” When you are sick when you change your schedule when your suspended when you have a one on one meeting the whole team knows about it before you do. Constantly short on inventory Does not replace needed broken items such as mag lamps to see Store has not been deep cleaned in years not very hygienic especially sense COVID is around. Remember you are just worker ant to these people they use you for their benefit and will dispose of you when they simply just don’t like you anymore, work ethics are not that important you just have to match their low energy to be accepted. You will not get fired because they don’t want to pay unemployment you just get suspended for months so you’ll have no choice but to look for another job. Be aware These people are very manipulative They don’t have your best interest at heart Make your money pay your bills and dip out There are way better companies out there to work for.
Continue readingHi, I am not sure what territory this is written about as this page is only for the CA and NV stores. The issues you write about are not indicative of how we run our company. I would like to go down your list of grievances as you have posted a lot of incorrect information about our company. If a day is slow and minimum wage was not met from commissions we pay an hourly rate as is required by law. We also allow our staff to leave early on days when it is slow on a case by case basis. We pay the designated sick pay to all staff as is required by law. We offer 2 raises from the starting pay and we also have opportunities to make more money for Estheticians that possess the necessary skills and may want to move into positions of higher responsibility such lead estheticians, trainers, and managers. We run a very tight ship with our inventory as we have our own supply house here in Nevada. We ship out supplies as they are needed and always keep our stores stocked. We also have our own delivery guy who makes his rounds on schedule. We replace all broken equipment immediately upon notification. Our stores are also regularly inspected by management and myself to oversee that all cleaning and sanitation standards are being upheld. We have never suspended anyone for months as a means to avoid unemployment. I am sorry that you didn't have a good experience, however many of your complaints are simply false. I wish you all the best in your job search and that you find a place more suitable to you. Tricia Evans

Apr 8, 2021 - Licensed Esthetician in San Diego, CARecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
This job is a great opportunity to learn all you need to know about waxing and dealing with clients. They have an amazing loyal client base which keeps the locations very busy (Even on the winter months during COVID, wasn't crazy busy but pretty consistent) As the weather warms up the days are insanely fast paced and pretty good money. At the San Diego locations the staff is pretty helpful and unproblematic. Owners are completely open for you to reach out if you ever need any guidance that management can't answer.
Cons
This is a job that requires you to have full availability even if you work part time in order to have days to cover shifts if necessary Taxes aren't taken out of your tips so you have to make sure to save in order to pay during tax season You must sign a contract stating that you will not exchange any information with clients due to previous employees stealing clients in the past
