    Pros

The great thing about Prudential is how wide your network becomes once you join the company. In my state, we hvae 64 offices - I can use any of those offices if I am on the road and need a computer or conference room. Technology is great - everything is online.

    Cons

Your experience will largely depend on your office manager. Mine is great - some are not. Ask around before you join to get a feel for the office and the manager.

    Advice to Management

Continue to recruit great managers - they will help to create great agents.

    Pros

Great people, management really cares, and is all about helping out. Very supportive, and provide excellent mentoring and training. Also, very ethical and set a good example.

    Cons

Like any real estate sales job, the pay is entirely commission based.

    Advice to Management

Recruit more experienced agents. Having too many new agents takes a lot of management time.

    Pros

corporate environment opens doors when introduced to major clients

    Cons

there are no downsides your a free agent to work wherever you want and can specialize in different areas of real estate

    Advice to Management

The most important thing is to compliment an agent when they do well and help them if they are having trouble

    Pros

The Brand is second to none.

    Cons

Total lack of direction by the senior leadership team.

    Advice to Management

Have a plan, work the plan, and reward monetarily those who increase the bottom line of your company; rather than penalize them for being great at the job. The Company rewards mediocrity and resents excellance.

    Pros

Prudential Georgia Realty has great Technology both with Training and Support. The company is expanding and doing well even in this down market. Brokers are professional and realize you are independant buisness owner and are there as a resource not as a micro manager. Offices are located all over Atlanta and all seem to be well located and designed well. My desk at the Marietta office was large and in a very nice quiet part of the office.

    Cons

It is a hard market to start as a new Realtor but if you want to do it go with Prudential.

    Advice to Management

Keep up with the support feel to the company and always remember it is the Agents who bring in the money...we need you and you need us.

    Pros

The extensive network the company has. As an agent in a market that is largerly driven by resort and the retiree market, its good to work with a common name brand.

    Cons

Little in the way of national advertising. The national marketing campaign is quite useless.

    Advice to Management

    See above

    Pros

Very relaxed place to work. Everyone is friendly and supportive.

    Cons

It's a boring environment and not much interaction is going on. Everyone is pretty much just working on whatever they need to deal with at the time. Not much strategic direction and bigger picture thinking going on.

    Advice to Management

Bring people together more often so we can get to know each other better. Provide a clearer direction for where the company is going.

    Doesn't Recommend

    Pros

It's a company that's likely to be in business for a long time because of its affiliations with Prudential and HomeServices. Individual employees are mostly dedicated, kind and understanding.

    Cons

Management is more concerned about the bottom line than about the employees who work there. People are secretly promoted without even interviewing other candidates. There are also way too many in upper management who don't even live in the town where we're headquartered! It's hard to sell real estate or understand the market if you're not there on a regular basis! Since the departure of Robert Helms, the company has just not been the same.

    Advice to Management

Don't assume the person you see most is the person who does the most work. It's often the people behind the scenes who do the work that others present and pass off as theirs.

    Pros

    Cons

Poor career progression. The bonus scheme and pay structure was based on friendship groups rather than work ethic.
