    Pros

    A vibrant and passionate student body, with a beautiful campus on the outer crust of University City. It has great potential for some truly innovative and thought provoking programs.

    Cons

    The vision of the college is driven by one individual who refuses to allow the staff they've hired to do the jobs they've been hired for. This singular vision can be a guiding light in dark times but in the day to day it becomes a huge hindrance. All roads, no matter how small lead back to them and, far more often than not, ideas die at their doorstep based on nothing more than a "feeling" or personal biased.

    True talent does not last long in that environment leading to a massive brain drain on the college as an employer. The best employees want to help build something but cannot do it when the under or unqualified undercut them at every turn. They eventually grow weary of not having their voices heard, no matter how supported by facts they may be, and move on to other endeavors.

    This leads to an environment where the best and the brightest the college sees blow through town in under two years. The college becomes a springboard to launch them higher on their career instead of a place to grow and develop professionally along with the college.

    Advice to Management

    Restructure the leadership team, specifically the one at the top of the pyramid for the college to have any chance of really thriving and growing beyond what it is today. Their ideas may be creative but at the end of the day hard facts and figures need to go guide a business, not ill-planned whimsy.
