I have been working at The Rose Group part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Flexible work schedule and hours. Managers are very willing to help you succeed, but you have to put in your own effort as well!

    Cons

Being on your feet for hours and days at a time can be tiring on the feet and legs. Not much of a con if your used to it!

    Advice to Management

    N/A

I worked at The Rose Group full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Free drinks, all I can think of.

    Cons

Awful management....petty, unprofessional and it starts at the top. CFO and Controller horrible!!! Neither knows what goes on.....just finger point and push off responsibility/accountability to the lower ranks. It's a kiss-ass mentality there. Best Dept is Marketing. Accounting and HR are awful. Advice would be to keep looking and applying, save yourself the aggravation at this place. Nobody is happy at corporate or in the restaurants. Become accepting and complacent due to the length of employment and not wanting to start over. Lazy. Most could not make it anywhere else. If you end up working there, you will see what I mean. Believe me. Really smart, good people have left this stale business, both in corporate and restaurants.

    Advice to Management

None, nothing will ever change there as long as the current mgmt is in charge.

I have been working at The Rose Group part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Work around your hours, flexible scheduling and accessibility to Stafflinq.com to view, modify and request shifts.

    Cons

The Host & Server pay is abysmal. Host in the county of Prince George's receive way below minimum wage and the server receive lower based on Tip outs

    Advice to Management

Pay @ least minimum wage. That is why the turnover ratio is extremely high.

    Advice to Management

    care about your team members!
