      Fulfilling and Educational

      Pros

Had a wonderful prior Manager. Absolutely loved working with and assisting SA life long donors in my territory and assisting people. Great employees - but you'll always have few with a high school mentality, competitive or insecure.

      Cons

Religious exempt non-profit does not pay into CA taxes, so you will pay at the end of the year and your salary will not cover it. Suggest when new Managers are promoted into the donor field that they had experience and not a social services homeless degree that does not parlay into donor relations needs nor exceptions. Please choose new managers based on experience accordingly and not laterally based on pay or length of friendships with superiors.

      Pros

Working for a non-profit company and working there for a good cause.

      Cons

Sometimes experience difficult customers and you work by yourself and during the summer times it will be physically demanding (over 100 people donated during the summer when the lockdown was lifted in 2020).

      Pros

      Good experience. Lots of resources

      Cons

Most positions are part time. They will tell you they can't pay you more because they are a "non profit" organization. The Majors (the hire ups) get houses paid for, cars and a bunch of benefits. I have a bachelors in social work, a minor in Africana studies and I'm a certified peer counselor. I work as a case manager but get paid $14.89 an hour and only part time hours.

      Pros

The Army does so many good things to help those in need in our community.

      Cons

Management and leadership is poor. Processes and procedures are disorganized. High burn out with the sheer amount of work that needs to be done. Pay is low but it is a non-profit.

      Great Non-profit organization

      Pros

It feels good working for a christian, non-profit organization. Most employees have a great attitude!

      Cons

The pay isn't great. My manager even tried to get our HR department to give a higher pay. We were told that the positions there have a set pay.
