    Doesn't Recommend

I have been working at The Smart Cube full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Professionally run company with seemingly good culture

    Cons

Multiple, particularly from the point of view of Assistant Managers (AM) working in the company: 1. Too much work - AMs have to work on 4–5 projects at a time. Their team consists of newly recruited Analysts with an experience of 3–4 months. Due to lack of experience, Analysts make a lot of mistakes. AMs are expected to deliver error free reports. Due to this AMs have a lot on their plate. Low pay: As if too... much work was not enough, the company doesn't even compensate its AMs properly. No learning: After working for 2–3 years, there is absolutely no learning.

    Advice to Management

Reduce work load on AMs and pay them at least respectable salaries. Common sense suggests that the three founders take very high share of profits. They need to understand that employees need to paid fairly, else quality will suffer.

    Negative Outlook
    Disapproves of CEO

I worked at The Smart Cube full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Mostly young workforce; good outbound training programs and regular parties

    Cons

Pathetic quality of management with lack of strong and transparent processes. Very use for certain people to take out personal grudges on employees lower in rung to them. Opportunities are very limited and only available to the old employees who never plan to leave the organization Your career depends on the hands of your immediate manager who in most cases are worthless to work in any good MNC organization and... hence are sticking around because of lack of opportunities Majority of managers are of very mediocre quality who are in the company for a long duration and can think only in one track. Any other way to solve problems or represent findings are not accepted and eventually most analysts and senior analysts trained to fill bookish knowledge in fixed templates with no real world use. HRBPs are just for the sake of having an HR and are there to act just as spies of the unit heads to keep a track of activities and report it to them regularly. Trusting them to discuss your career problems can be the worst idea ever Speaking of unit heads, some people with 7-8 years of experience and with no people management skills are made to lead teams of 30+ people Very repetitive and monotonous kind of projects with junior level people expected to slog like slaves. Calls cold calling to hundreds of random numbers as "primary research" You don't need to add any value on projects or work hard if you can maintain the right connections and find yourself a Godfather. Overall if you are coming from any decent organization especially an MNC, just need to stay miles away from this place. people from smaller KPOs can give this a try.

    Advice to Management

No need for advice; guess they have a mind of their own; Just don't dupe people to join TSC giving them high hopes and leave at the mercy of a handful of worthless managers to ruin their career.
