      Wonderful Company

      Pros

The people that work here are truly amazing. Everyone is so kind and helpful and treats one another like family. There is room to grow within your department or other areas. Upper management truly cares about you and wants you to succeed.

      Cons

None that I can think of.

Okay - but depends on your Management

Aug 16, 2021 - Key Carrier in Bellingham, WA

      Business Outlook

      Pros

Flexible hours Quarterly "COVID" bonuses Ability to move up quickly Associate Appreciation Weekends (20% off, luncheons, games) PTO, Vacation, Personal Hours Good benefits Management very open and honest

      Cons

Anything beyond District Level Management (i.e. Regional) often implements things that show they don't know what it's like to run a store. Some of the policies pertaining to Loss Prevention and Safety frustrate all areas of store employees. Not enough raises and they are not transparent about the amount of money you could be making.

      Low pay inflexible

Sep 6, 2021 - Customer Service Associate in Carlisle, PA

      Pros

It was a fun place to work most days, good co workers. Benefits if you are full time. 10% off store and online.

      Cons

Very low pay, they advertised flexible hours but it was not flexible. Hours were all over the place! You were better off being part time than full time If he needed a more consistent schedule. Full time workers got the worst hours to accommodate part time workers and the stores “needs”. In other words, we can’t keep staff and need you full time people to cover all the holes. (Glad I was part time 24-30hrs) Management would bend “policy” in favor of certain employees so long as it benefits the store at that time. No consideration for you as a person and your needs. Basically find another place to work if you don’t like it kind of attitude. Unwilling to be flexible but want full flexibility from you.

      Rampant and unending burnout

Jun 27, 2021 - Senior Allocation Analyst in Framingham, MA
      Recommend
      CEO Approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

Ok pay, some great people, gaining exposure to different areas of the business is encouraged, 10% employee discount, decent benefits and 401K, 3 wks paid vacation/yr

      Cons

Workload has skyrocketed since the beginning of the pandemic without an increase in pay Upper management is constantly micro-managing, setting unrealistic deadlines, and adding new tasks that aren't worth our time. Upper management is out of touch, doesn't attend meetings, and is apathetic to the stress they are putting on lower level employees. Demanded that analysts work Saturdays during Q4 without pay. Their solution to poor morale was to force us to attend a resilience training that boiled down to "things suck right now but your attitude is the real problem." Career advancement is slow, purely political, and doesn't align with what is promised when you're hired. Associates aren't allowed to apply for promotions, it's all decided in secret so no one can argue their case. Overall they preach the value of culture and relationships but don't put in the effort to back that up. Associates are very vocal about being miserable but are ignored.

      Great Company to work for

Aug 23, 2021 - Executive Assistant in New York, NY
      Recommend
      CEO Approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

Besides offering the best stores, it's a great place to work. The culture is friendly and family-oriented. Work and Life Balance is very important. They have been amazing during Covid-19 with all the associates in corporate and in stores.

      Cons

Unfortunately, not much growth for an EA like there is for Merchandising Assistants. So an EA would have to switch to an MA to have some growth.

Great on paper, and for certain departments

Sep 1, 2021 - Product Manager in Marlborough, MA
      Recommend
      CEO Approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

      - Stable and growing company - pay is decent once you are promoted to management - great colleagues - 12-20 weeks of paid maternity leave at corporate HQ, Massachusetts

      Cons

      - Ideology of workplace stuck in the past (9-5 hours, no flexibility, not great PTO) - Micromanagement - Expectations and rules are very different depending on your department, division, roll. Some areas of the business are more respected than others. - difficult to advocate for a raise or promotion, they are simply handed out - your department/roll can change in 24 hours, without notice or input from you
