    Neutral Outlook

I worked at The UPS Store part-time for less than a year

    Pros

You get to know multiple things that will be beneficial to you at other jobs. Flexible hours especially if you are going to school or have a child.

    Cons

There's a lot going on: packing, shipping, notarization, printing, faxing, copying, mail sorting and it can be a lot to keep track of and your don't get paid well enough for it and crappy benefits. Christmas of course is peak season and things can escalate pretty quick when a package is late or goes missing.

    Advice to Management

Make sure your store is well staffed during busy hours and stay consistent with pricing especially with frequent customers like mailbox customers. Keep an eye out for your competition like other UPS Stores.

I worked at The UPS Store for more than a year

    Pros

Great part time job. Great pay. Flexible hours. normally not terribly busy so it is easy work there.

    Cons

All of the stores get crazy busy around Christmas time and it can be difficult to work there because hours are stretched and the line is long

    Advice to Management

work on getting more people to come in for the Christmas rush and have UPS do more pick ups of packages so the store does not get filled with them
