I have been working at The Vancouver Clinic (Less than a year)

    Pros

Decent starting pay. Ability to transfer jobs within clinic. Opportunity for advancement within most departments. Opportunity to work directly with patients or behind the scenes. Opportunity for education reimbursement. Great accrual system for PTO bank (paid time off hours).

    Cons

No opportunity to get a raise other then a market raise, no merit raises, big con.

    Advice to Management

Take away the bonus' that we only get if we achieve 2% above our goal to bring back raises biased on performance.

"CBO/PFS under new manager, unfair, unfit, favoritism, high employee turnover, extremely stressful"

I worked at The Vancouver Clinic full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The Vancouver Clinic's CBO went from bad to WORSE, just ask ANY CBO employee; Find it difficult to list any, when the few pros are heavily outweighed by the overwhelming amount of cons

    Cons

Significant challenges within the CBO; not all the same rules apply to all employees; Inconsistent; obvious FAVORITISM; Manager unfair and unfit to oversee CBO staff as professional background consists of Coding when really should focus on Coaching; Again just ask any CBO employee for anonymous, candid, honest response

    Advice to Management

CEO/CFO/CBO Director and HR Director should have one-on-one meeting with CBO/PFS staff employees on an individual ANONYMOUS basis for real and positive feedback to improve this rather deteriorating department; Honest and candid feedback with no repercussions

    Pros

Great place to work, really enjoy the team work we have here. Everyone was really friendly when I started and I really think this will be a place I can stay at.

    Cons

I think just trying to find a good co worker for nights can be really hard to do. We have been looking for another night tech for a few months now. That is normal in this line of work.

    Advice to Management

I don't really have any advice for management. April has been great to work for she was there for me when I needed her help. Keep up the great work!

    Pros

The Vancouver Clinic is a great company to work for. They care about their employees and take excellent care of their patients. I love to go to work everyday. The team I work with are like my second family.

    Cons

The only con I can think about is sometimes we are short staffed. I find that to be true no matter where you work in the medical field.

    Pros

Good pay if you have experience. Good medical dental vision benefits and quarterly bonuses for employees. Nice computers.

    Cons

High turn over, constant change in procedure that already isn't all consistent throughout the clinics. Nobody reinforcing new procedures to any actual long term emplyees.

    Advice to Management

Get the work flow right. There's too many "cross over" areas of reports and the work flow sucks. Be consistent in all clinics. Expectations should be the same for all employees regardless of title.
