I have been working at The Warehouse part-time for more than a year

    Pros

Engaging, informative, social clubs, own app network

    Cons

Awful pay. Go through managers very fast. Store manager makes us break health and safety. Store manager is abusive. Cannot stay doing nights for too long, takes a toll on you. Go through team members very quick.

    Advice to Management

Do reference checks on staff that's hired.

I have been working at The Warehouse full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    Have some good team members

    Cons

Poor management, cutting costs, cutting hours, refusing to get permanent staff, poor health and safety advice, poor mental health support, management need more training and people skills.

    Advice to Management

Value your team members as they are your greatest asset. It's better to have 1 good permanent team member who's paid a little more than to pay 2 bad casuals who you dont pay as much you will make more money in the long run

I worked at The Warehouse part-time

    Pros

Great company attitude. Friendly and understanding management. Flexibility.

    Cons

Some team members never pulled their own weight but were given the same treatment as those who put in all their effort in every shift.

    Advice to Management

Smarter hiring choices and more emphasis on training and teamwork would help everyone feel valued.

    I worked at The Warehouse

    Pros

The Warehouse Ltd has a great culture, truly a people first business. There are various channels available for all team members of all levels to have their say. The company is doing great things in the community. Flexible working options are available to those with special circumstances.

    Cons

The Warehouse Ltd struggles to attract capable Night-time Managers and Supervisors so should review pay-gap and working conditions to make these vital roles more attractive. Some mid-level managers will feel as though there is a ceiling to their career within the company and often move into competing retailers (e.g. Mitre 10, Bunnings) rather than biding their time with The Warehouse Ltd.

I worked at The Warehouse full-time

    Pros

Good Salary and benefits, they do look after you. Good career opportunities if you are flexible and can move around the country.

    Cons

A busy work place with heavy workload and there is no synergy between head office and the stores, they do not seem to be working together very well. Large stores so can be conflict between team members. can be tight with people to cover the amount of work have to do.

    Advice to Management

You claim to be a people centred business but it seems that as long as your face fits, someone likes you and you are of a certain gender then you can get on, the boys club has to go for you to be truly a people centred business.
