I worked at Theracare full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

There is reasonable Flexibility. Friendly staff at most facilities. Good benefits and fair pay. Easy going. Good PTO. Opportunities for promotion.

    Cons

HR not often friendly. Management is very slow to act at times. Unorganized at times. The upper management is very hands off.

    Advice to Management

    Streamline

I worked at Theracare full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Flexible with hours, and benefits for FT.

    Cons

Has 1 person doing home health scheduling for the entire state. Not much follow through with immediate management, along with scattered upper management levels. Upper management asks for advice in how to run their programs.

I worked at Theracare full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Multiple sites to work if census is low. Awesome co-workers. Entry level therapist welcome for management roles. Therapist owned company

    Cons

High productivity expectations. Must clock out to maintain productivity and then pay higher rate of insurance if hours fall below standard. Misinformed by manager, found out with paycheck deduction.

Pressured to with clients who refuse

Screen residential patient based on unused funds rather than patient need

    Monitors numbers instead of quality

    Advice to Management

    Invest in your staff retention
    Educate appropriately
    Be truthful
Change the 8 minute rule back to 8 minutes instead of the 2 minutes rule posted

I have been working at Theracare full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

I was able to help children who needed services. I also met many families and was able to teach children at risk.

    Cons

Because everything was done via email, I never really was able to meet and get to know my co-workers.

    Advice to Management

Even though I have been ill, I am fully recovered and ready to work again.

I worked at Theracare full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Fellow employees were great under poor management conditions.
Employees were professional, cared for the patients, worked hard to rehab those assigned to them.

    Cons

Management would not listen to unethical practices of specific regional directors. Im glad contracted facilities are becoming more aware of management unprofessionalism

    Advice to Management

Listen to your excellent performing therapy staff. Be ethical and stop playing favorites with your upper management. No wonder this organization is going down hill. Your company is employee owned. Listen to the masses.
