I have been working at Theranos full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Management is constantly letting us know we are doing a good job. When you make a mistake they don't dwell on it, simply let you know and move on. They really try their hardest to keep my commute short and have been very flexible with my schedule. They truley do care. I reached out to my manager once when I needed help with a basic skill, and instead of getting upset, I was thanked for reaching out, and they sent a trainer out who stayed with me until I was comfortable with the process. The CEO is awesome, and my personal hero. My manager is phenomenal, and so is my lead.

    Cons

They give free meals and snacks when you work in the corporate office, but if you are out in the field you don't get anything..... More positive and negative feedback would be appriceated, and I would like to get my schedule more than a week in advance. I know that it is hard to do the schedule when everyone is asking you to switch it around all the time, it's just hard to plan my life when I don't know my work schedule for a week ahead of time.

I worked at Theranos full-time for less than a year

    Pros

The pay is great, most entry level employees like myself are paid hourly. Even if you were only working a 40hrs a week the pay would still be enough to support yourself and your family.

    Cons

Overworked and under appreciated. I worked an average of 6 days a week 50-60 hrs a week. Often times when people called out I would pick up shift. While I was a Theranos they were completely understaffed so this is usually an issue. Also they don't trust or listen to employees after an incident at one of the stores I was reprimanded for something I never did. Lastly, the pharmacist are not properly train, quite often I would have a patient that needs to come in for blood work that was unable to because no one could check them in.

I have been working at Theranos full-time for more than a year

    Pros

You can get as much overtime as you would like, management is only a phone call away.

    Cons

The hours change very often and it does not help to create a consistent environment.

I have been working at Theranos full-time for more than a year

    Pros

The pros are that you receive benefits from day one and the pay is above average.

    Cons

Management needs to all be let go and new, better leadership be brought in. This is the worst job as far as management that I have ever had. No leadership, poor communication, favoritism game, no understanding, all management talks poorly about employees to other people. Ridiculous expectations with very poor, unprofessional training. The interview said one thing about the job itself, then once put in the field it was completely different. Things dont get communicated properly then once you make a mistake management gets upset. Company has no protocol if you stick yourself with a needle. Expected to bend over backwards and be beyond flexible with hours and going to all these different locations with little to no recognition and reward. And if you dont want to work 100 hours a week you wont be a favorite!
