I worked at Thielsch Engineering full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Steady Paycheck, Good Benefits (if you make enough to have them), weekends off (sometimes) and paid Holidays, Great to gain Experience for people just starting out.

    Cons

Constant Issues with upper management, constantly short staffed, issues with co-worker relationship, toxic work environment, not enough competitive pay, PTO for everything even sick days ( meaning having to waste earned hours for time off to get a tooth pulled or a surgery), and no real career advancements.

    Advice to Management

Do Half a year evaluations vs 1 year, listen to your second shift team more, pay more competitive wages, try to be aware of setting people up in certain work environments.

I have been working at Thielsch Engineering full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Growing, diverse company. Good benefits, 401K, ESOP. Good job security. Coworker environment is pleasant within and across departments. Fair compensation to start.

    Cons

Management in some areas is detached and unconcerned with lower level employees. Policies are for the regular guy, not those in charge. Salary increases are few and far between.

    Advice to Management

Consider an attitude adjustment. The employees are who make a successful business. Share information on long-term planning and direction of company. Prevent poor managers from harming the department's they are supposed to run.
