    I worked at Thomas Keller Restaurant Group part-time for less than a year

    Pros

    Good Food you get to occasionally eat

    Cons

    Poor management, little training, poor co-workers, the whole atmosphere was pretentious and the chefs you come in to contact with are mostly arrogant, high turnover. I experienced about 3 instances of sexual harassment in about three weeks, my locker never worked properly or I was never given the correct code, didn't get my handbook for about 2 weeks into working there. Got no support from one of the managers, but... the other one was nice.

    I worked at Thomas Keller Restaurant Group full-time for less than a year

    Pros

    Extremely high quality product. Great reputation -- looks great on resumé. Restaurant and kitchen are beautifully designed. Learning is encouraged. Additional responsibilities given freely if desired.

    Cons

    When I worked here the management was horrible. Its the reason I left. I'm not sure if this has changed. Bouchon Bistro is next door and I would often times be there getting ingredients and supplies and their kitchen management were awful-- the type that yell horrible things at you. It was that kind of kitchen. The pay is horrendous but they know how good experience there looks on your resumé so they can get away... with it.
