    "Attorney"

    2.0

    I worked at Thompson Coburn

    Pros

Solid legal experience, quality of legal work is very good.

    Cons

Women are not given same opportunities as men, men are ones chosen to make pitches to clients, excluding women, male partners are routinely chosen to lead teams, not women. Tomen number of women in leadership positions, women rarely assigned to committees other than associate and women committees. Diversity is not important except on paper. There are favored attorneys that get most opportunities, if you aren't one of these you will have a difficult time succeeding.

I worked at Thompson Coburn full-time for more than a year

    Pros

At the end of the day, you will make friends through venting frustrations that are acquired if you take a position here.

    Cons

List is too great for the small box given here. Thompson Coburn values it's clients and image above all else but could seriously benefit from hearing the needs of employees and not dismissing them unless they're part of the partnership.
