I have been working at Thompson Technologies full-time

    Pros

I've had the opportunity to work for a couple of agencies, and in the many years I've worked with Thompson, I've continued to be very thankful for their approach. No, it's not perfect, but the company has continued to invest in us, technology, our consultants and our clients in order to continuously improve. It's not a back-stabbing, cut-throat environment- in fact, the teams genuinely like and support each other 1000%. Our industry is changing and I'm grateful for the opportunity to work with a company that works hard to keep its promises every day.

    Cons

I was a little concerned about the Braves' traffic, but there are so many alternate routes, it hasn't been an issue.

    Advice to Management

Let's rent the Braves' suite again soon! :)

I worked at Thompson Technologies full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Paycheck
    PTO
    Insurance benefits
    Paid on time

    Cons

    Passive aggressive culture
    No real concern for employees
If you decide to work as a contractor, remember you are of no value to them. If you need a job and have no choice, take the position, but keep your options open "quietly" because when it was discovered that I was job searching, I was told to remove my resume from the job site. Not only did it feel like a cult, I was treated as if I was just a number. The client where I was assigned was very aggressive and this company was not supportive. This may be due to the fact they are billing the client triple what they were paying me (I discovered this accidentally from an email that was not meant for me). Not only did I fall into a depression while working for them, I wasted my time.

    Pros

I've been working for Thompson for 5+ years and I can truly say it's a great place to work! All companies have growing pains and things employees might not like (that's just life), but you have to get over that because the grass isn't always greener! We are a family that cares about what we do and each other, Flexibility and open communication are key.

    Cons

The building won't let us have heaters. :)

I have been working at Thompson Technologies full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Solid Tenure, Caring Leadership Team, Free Breakfast on Friday's, Very Competitive Pay, Community Service Opportunities, Comprehensive Benefits Package, Matching 401K, Partial Telecommuting, Flexible Hours, Strong Company Culture, Very Ethical

    Cons

Since they moved their office from Kennesaw to the Cobb Galleria area this has made the commute longer, but the awesome work space sure makes up for it. Plus leadership has been flexible regarding commute and some work from home.

    Advice to Management

Thank you for all that you do!

I have been working at Thompson Technologies full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Company culture - been here 5 years - by far the most ethical, well-rounded leadership team I've worked with (a big reason I stay.)
Extremely low turnover - they're good to employees & consultants, avg tenure is 5 years which is unheard of in staffing industry
Consistent / reliable- never missed a pay period for consultants
Compensation - nice/competitive commission structure for recruiters & sales
Upward mobility - every member of my team here has been promoted at least once

    Cons

    Location: Kennesaw
    Need better marketing strategy

    Advice to Management

    Keep doing what you're doing!

    Pros

Thompson Technologies is an extremely generous company that gives back to the community, internal employees, and consultants alike. This is a rare find in the staffing agency world. They allow their employees to attend local community events, they host holiday lunches and dinners, have decent benefits, match 401K, and the list goes on. Overall, great company with great values and ethics!

    Cons

Can be a little micromanaging and little to no room to grow/advance.

    Advice to Management

Allow your employees more freedom to make independent decisions.
