    Pros

Overall, large company with good reputation and benefits

    Cons

Depending on what you are working on, you will have a lot of attention, or zero attention. As it is a large corporation, upper management may not be too involved or knowledgeable about what you are doing. no room to grow in local offices unless you are willing to move to locations where headquarters are.

I worked at Thomson Reuters full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    Good work-life balance.
    Access to Microsoft SW!

    Cons

    * All the smart employees seem to exit, so you are left with the half-smart ones.
    * Upper management promotes laying middle-tier managers as long as they get the job done, knowing that they are layers! Not a good culture.
    * Benefits are lower than market average

    Advice to Management

    * There is a lot of hype about the culture of the company recently. You can't be promoting layers while claiming to be building a healthy culture.

I worked at Thomson Reuters full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Benefits, some of the employees became good friends outside of the office and are very supportive of one another.

    Cons

Got the feeling that profit mattered more than competent employees. Not much room for employee development or movement within the company. Salaries tend to be on the lower side.

I worked at Thomson Reuters full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Thomson Reuters is a diverse vendor with highly regarded solutions.

    Cons

Tax and Accounting division has solutions that are too expensive.

    Advice to Management

Focus on high margin deals pushes overall pricing perception to "too expensive". Have to be more competitive. Better to win a deal with a low sales margin than to lose a deal with a high sales margin.
