I worked at Thornton Tomasetti as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Extremely smart engineers, the company values cutting edge technology and research, interesting projects, well-organized lunchtime seminars

    Cons

As an intern, other companies in New York may pay better but there were benefits in working for a large, well-established company.

I have been working at Thornton Tomasetti full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Great opportunity to move up

    Cons

Experience may not be the most popular or transferable with other companies.

    Advice to Management

Management is great, but the only fly by idea/suggestion I would have for management is to sponsor a study group for younger engineers to get their professional engineering license. Having a PE will make management look good as well as the employees that carry them and the company in general.
