    Pros

    Good compensation. Good benefits. Nice perks. Opportunities for improvement.

    Cons

    Favoritism was obvious and refused to be addressed. Poor decisions on some management positions - like school-yard bully.

    Advice to Management

    Apply rules across the board. Expect the same from every employee. Continue excellent educational opportunities. Continue with the perks...it keeps morale high.

    Allows Employee Involvement in many aspects
    Treats Employee's fairly

    Cons

    Turnover is high, however as long as you perform there isn't anything to worry about.

    Advice to Management

    People are people. They have families and as such should not be a puppet that can come in whenever they are needed.

    Brand name and reputation of company.
    High emphasis on integrity and ethics.
    Financial strength.
    Part of a diversified group.

    Low career growth prospects (higher positions don't open up).
    Inconsistent titles and designations.
    Service departments (IT, HR/Benefits, etc.) not as efficient / competent as I have seen elsewhere.
    Internally available positions not advertised but filled privately.

    Advice to Management

    Expand activities so that people can keep themselves stimulated. Evaluate the strengths of the service functions through surveys of internal customers.

    Pros

    Stable and great learning experience. Employee friendly work place and atomosphere. Career Opportunities are good. Cross training. Management recognizes employees' skills and competence and be able to locate the employees to best fit job. Intense entry level training. Recently intalled new system (SAP) which gives a great opportunity to increase skills and knowledge. Less politics. Company has large customer base. Balanced organization, does not have too many managements. Great infrastructure. Fast service. Does not overwhelm employees with work, evenly spread. Good flow in warehouse control system and delivery system.

    Cons

    Lacks in communication. Low in compensation. Low level of service in customer service.

    Advice to Management

    Recommend to conduct a meeting periodically to increase communication to discuss individual performance, company performance, target, issues, so on.

    Good benefits, friendly workforce, work is not overbearing, periodic company activities and luncheons that are fun

    Cons

    No training or room for advancement. Managers are not always qualified. Some nepotism.

    Prevent nepotism and hire better qualified managers

    They run lean on staff, so workloads are usually pretty full. Much of the learning will be on the job. Change is a constant, which can be both a pro and a con.
