    Pros

    They take care of their employees, and will train you for 5 weeks. Everyone is extremely helpful. The flagship location was especially great to work at.

    Cons

    Very specific in how they want you to represent the company.

    Micromanagement. Do not receive commission if your title doesn't include "sales".

    Pros

    It's Tiffany & Co. who wouldn't love working here?? They are a wonderful jeweler, rich history, beautiful jewelry. It was an awesome opportunity.

    Cons

    Hours were difficult. Pay was low. Holiday hours were terrible, but such is retail life. Probably could have overlooked a lot if the pay was better.

    Advice to Management

    Higher pay and better rotation of off time

    Great co-workers and way to learn the ins and outs of customer service. Lots of opportunity to work with other Departments. Can measure growth and lots of feedback.

    Cons

    It can be difficult to match the needs of the customers with the options that you have. Very difficult during holiday season to keep up with the flow of business at times.

    Pay did not increase to keep up with inflation, Can get stuck in a department if you are too good at what you do. New hires may start out with higher pay then current employees. Advancement opportunities in some departments can be lacking or very slow to materialize.

    Advice to Management

    Truly honor, recognize and fairly compensate those employees who clearly demonstrate loyalty, commitment and dedication to Tiffany's success in its competitive market. Particularly in those departments and facility that do not get the same exposure as the 5th avenue store. (TSC, Pehlem etc.) This ensure that these employees who possess valuable Tiffany experience will remain with the company indefinitely. And for those...
