I have been working at Tim Hortons full-time

    Pros

The job is not far from where I live and the job itself is not that bad.

    Cons

I work all types of times, no set schedule, and it's starting to conflict with my sons school schedule making it harder to find someone to pick him up and watch him as well

    Advice to Management

I'm a hard great worker as well as a fast learner. I'm always on the job.

wokring here has given me the chance to get to know how to run a shift and deal with all different kinds of people. it has given me a leadership role

    Cons

sometimes dealing with customers can be hard and the pay is not very good. there should be just a little more incentive for the job

    Advice to Management

keep finding better quality workers may be a good way to keep the company moving in a forward direction would probably be best

    Pros

Flexible scheduling(especially good for students) , advancement opportunities(becoming a supervisor or manager isn't too difficult if you're good at your job), discounted lunches before during and immediately after your shift

    Cons

The company tends to care more about the bottom line than workers opinions even when they're money saving ideas. Coming in during the overnight shift I'd frequently find the showcase full of food. A good $2,500 per week is probably wasted keeping food items "well stocked" in case someone from corporate walks in.

I worked at Tim Hortons part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I loved most of the people that I worked with. My overall manager was a good guy who cared about his employees.

    Cons

The pay isn't great - but they do give raises annually if you earn them. It's a fast pace environment and that gets difficult and people can become impatient (both employees and customers)

    Advice to Management

Be aware of your supervisors and how they are well they're actually working -- they can get lazy and don't actually lead the way you may want them too.
