    Pros

The benefits and the management team lead the way! The hours are good and sales commission is great as well. If you work hard, your accomplishments are recognized and rewarded. There is a lot of opportunity for career advancement, but you will have to move around alot to really climb the corporate ladder. Benefits are top notch and the pension plan is hard to beat. I didn't even know that companies had those anymore but it just goes to show how great a company Time Warner Cable really is and how much it values its employees!

    Cons

Angry customers that can never be satisfied.

    Advice to Management

    KEEP ON KEEPING ON!

Excellent benefits. good pay and free cable. time warner cable is very generous with the time off. Employee start with two weeks vacation, thirty two hours personal, and one week sick time per year for the first five years. Vacation increases to three weeks, then four weeks and tops out at five weeks off a year when you reach more than fifteen years with the compay. They also offer a pension plan and emploees are eligible for a partial pension after five years and a full pension after twenty years with the company. Overall, excellent benefits for a company of this size

    Cons

pay is kind of low as compared to other cable companies

    Advice to Management

    Pros

Time Warner Cable has a lot of growth opportunities. There is a strong support for advancement in career and education. A person can come to this company in a entry poistion and move towards management in literally about five years of less. Leadership recognize strong leadership skills in others and help develop individuals to their personal and professional best.

    Cons

It is a fast past environment, everything is changing. You have to be able to adapt to change. Becaus technology is a ever changing world cable and internet changes with it. The changes occur from equipment to the channels that are offered.

    Advice to Management

Listen more to your front line, they will help you be more proactive than reactive in situations.

    Pros

The free cable and internet and what you don't get for free is usually 50% off. If your cell phone provider is one of the majors you get a discount on services and equipment. You also get discounts at many other companies under Time Warner Inc plus other companies. Companies vehicles are usually five years or newer.

    Cons

Company is so big you are just a number and not a name. Management does not listen to employees in the field. Supervisor gives you a yearly review even though they have never been out in the field with you, but yet they somehow know what you need to work on and what you are doing good at.

    Advice to Management

spend some time in the field with your crew to actually see what they do.

    Pros

Great benefits, exciting industry, work/life balance, great people, opportunities for movement around the country if that is what you want.

    Cons

company is going through a very large transition/consolidation and many management positions have been and will continue to be eliminated. It's a very volatile time in this company. In a year or so, it will even out as the company should have a final structure by then.

    Advice to Management

Didn't appear to be as much in depth foresight as was needed in the reorganization. Timelines not realistic on some fronts and strategy keeps changing. This has affected real people's lives in a bad economy.
