I worked at Tiny Speck (More than a year)

    Pros

Wonderful team, worked from home, creative and supportive coworkers, best and most fun game product ever

    Cons

Sadly the online MMO is now defunct; that is the only con. Company now exists as Slack Technologies and is doing awesome things for business communications.

    Positive Outlook

I worked at Tiny Speck full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good pay. Good options. Good location. Some good people on the team that you will befriend (that will eventually be let go).

    Cons

Terrible management -- verbal abuse -- firing if you didn't fit into the boy's club or speak up about anything you don't like or refuse to do. Brogrammers. Management mislead people after layoffs so no one bought their options. Now Slack is valued at $2B.

    Advice to Management

In exchange for keeping your equity, hire above yourselves and give the board the ability to fire you so the company can be well-managed.
