I worked at Tires Plus full-time for more than a year

    Pros

There are a lot of pros for working at TP/ BSRO. Pay was good, lots of benefits ei: health dental vision, 401k and discounts on tires and services for your car.

    Cons

Not to many cons. Other then what's faced in any other retail/sales job. Upper management wanting you to push specific items.

    Advice to Management

Really nothing to be said. Other then allowing more promotions from within.

I worked at Tires Plus full-time for more than a year

    Pros

The only thing good about this place is you eventually learn more about cars and how they work

    Cons

Management, regional managers, store policies, vacation, hours

    Advice to Management

Stop shuving things like Tires Plus cards, 4 tire sales WITH an alignment, and recommendations on customers who don't necessarily need it immediately

I worked at Tires Plus full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

If you can survive all the corporate BS the experience will make you appreciate working any where else. Knowing you will get a better Job some where else.

    Cons

As a manager you might get 60k but you will work over 60 hrs a week and get phone calls 24/7. The clients are your "Boss". The corporate structure is ever in their favor. Every claim will be paid back to the customer weather it's correct or not. Clients know this and exploit every store with false claims. The district manager will transfer you so many times that you never get to make any lasting relationships with...

    Pros

Weekly pay. Paid vacations/holidays when full time. Latest you work is 7/8pm.

    Cons

Management sucks. Area managers just bark orders and requests all day. Have to constantly try to push people into things that don't benefit them or things they dont really need.

great initial training period for college interns. they fly you out to tampa, orlando, and chicago for training with all expenses paid for you.

    Cons

    I worked at Tires Plus

    Pros

Stable easy job. Good benefits. Decent pay for an entry level position. Good discounts on tires and service for employees.

    Cons

Dirty unsafe working conditions, long hours, stress from not being able to meet customers' needs, stress from management yelling at you all the time, no weekends, impossible to get time off, having to work with associates who are not qualified to work on vehicles or interact with customers

    Advice to Management

There is a reason why so many people on complaint websites call you "The most crooked chain out there right now." And that reason is you. While you preach good customer service and honest selling, the way you treat your employees is the reason why your employee retention is so low. This high employee turnover rate causes you to hire questionable replacements who often do horrible unethical things in stores. This drives...

I have been working at Tires Plus

    Pros

Company has great benifits & unlimited opportunity for spiffs, bonus, & contests! It's a change your life for the better kind of job for SOME employees but not for all

    Cons

Way too much politics, back stabbing & "the good ol boys network! Very long hours & you are only as good as your last sale

    Advice to Management

Be ready to live & give for the company if you want any chance for advancement. Have a thick skin because everything is critized & some customers are mean
