I worked at Titan Cement full-time for more than a year

    Pros

It is not worth working for this company. Terrible culture from upper management and lack of team spirit and cooperation.

    Cons

Huge amount of backstabbing and talking behind your backs.

    Advice to Management

    Sell and go home

I worked at Titan Cement full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Good relations, some people are well skilled, sometimes payments were good and while having a managerial position most of work can be delegated. Top management care about safety and environment. Good portals and IT security.

    Cons

Although I had some managerial positions but generally they have strange criteria of selecting managers specially recently top management pick the less qualified managers and in some BU's managers can delegate almost all of their work to someone else. They have huge gaps in payment, compensation and benefits. There's always someone to blame for not doing your own work. Everything is about good relations and flattering. In spite of being a big international company and having a good system and code of conduct, it can be only on paper or software, backstabbing is a lifestyle, employees can be forced to violate the system and be blamed for it the next day. So much compliance but if you close your eyes you can live well. In some BU's administrative teams are much bigger than technical teams and more powerful to the limit of effecting the company benefits. So much pressure and barely have time to live even if you are doing nothing actually.

    Advice to Management

Check your teams, continuous audits can't find anything, reassess your restrictions, keep your good people and listen more, paying well for environment and safety doesn't mean they are already well applied. Don't trust your people so much. some BU's and plants are not really monitored in spite of very good systems and new regulations, monitoring and reporting software, but still can be drastically compromised. Check your actual payment systems. Low cost gives different results than optimized cost or zero cost. don't keep your employees frustrated specially who actually doing the work. Some BU's top managements are full of corruption.
