I have been working at Titan Machinery part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great people to work with! International company!

    Cons

Policies are different due to publicly traded company! Not always comfortable with them.

    Advice to Management

Part time is cheap! Hire full-time so part-timers don't feel taken advantage.

I have been working at Titan Machinery full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The people who work here are amazing. The teamwork from store to store is awesome. There is much praise to be handed out to each and every employee. The culture is drived from good quality small town values and ethics.

    Cons

Senior leadership can leave employees in the dark at times. Not enough communication through out. The future can be unknown at times.

    Advice to Management

Open up to your employees. Share more than just financial results and bottom line numbers.

    Pros

Cut backs on 401k and on health benefits. Still are both decent compared to other companies

    Advice to Management

Keep up the good work and to make sure the mechanic is kept up to date with the most current products available.

I have been working at Titan Machinery part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

They do care about their employees and seem like they will try to place you in another position in the company if you do not do your job well instead of firing anyone.
Paid holiday and vacation package is a nice plus

    Cons

No raise if the company does not do well in the prior year
Not a lot of trainings provided, in my position at least. So I felt very lost in the first couple of months.
Not a lof of programs or events. Each department seems to stick with each other.

I worked at Titan Machinery full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

There is opportunity here if you are a go-getter, and the commission structure rewards top performance. They have a reputation of not firing people, but attempting to place you in other positions.

    Cons

The duplicate paperwork can drive you crazy, but after a while it will just be routine. Communication is not where I would like to see it.

    Advice to Management

Keep on stabilizing before you try and grow again.
