Pros
I have worked for Titus for almost three years and have filled the roles of warehouse lead and IT lead, The owners provide an environment that allows you to excel in any area once you show that you have mastered the basics in the initial area for which you were hired. As costs and profit margins have tightened in the contracting space in general, Titus has introduced tools to track job costs, communicate scheduling, and provide access to job information via the Cloud thereby giving all employees every opportunity to be successful. Titus offers quarterly profit sharing which provides inspiration to be mindful of remaining efficient while being professional.
Cons
Titus can do better with ensuring employees fully understand their responsibilities to follow procedures and why the procedures are in place. I think if the employee better understands why each policy/procedure is in place, they will be more apt to comply.

Pros
There is a great opportunity for growth if you desire to take on responsibility and are a person of honesty and integrity. The management is great to deal with and are willing to communicate and work through issues whenever they arise. Management works to provide a safe environment to work in and to provide very competitive benefits for the industry. The technology that we use is very user friendly and allows us to collaborate seamlessly with each other in the field and the office.
Cons
There are always organizational issues in any company and Titus is no different, the major difference here is that if you are willing to communicate everyone is easy to get along with and work through issues with. Communication is sometimes lacking, but I find that if I do a good job communicating it makes up for lack elsewhere and actually helps to facilitate good communication going forward.

Pros
Titus Contracting has been an amazing place to work! The management really cares about the team and creating a great, supportive work atmosphere and family oriented culture. The company encourages growth-both personal and professional, and will do what they can to help in those goals. Management is also very open to new ideas and new ways of doing things. They encourage people to step up and offer their suggestions to any perceived problems, and they really listen to those suggestions. The culture is positive, and the team is very cohesive and keen on working together as a team every day to make it as great of a company as it can be. The leadership also encourages the team to take an "owner's approach" to the company, and offers competitive pay, benefits, and even profit sharing. Anyone who is willing to be responsible, and work hard with a great attitude can really thrive here!
Cons
The only con I can think of is not specific to the company, but of the construction industry. There can be occasional days in seasons where there may not be a full 40 hours worth of work for everyone. This is not often the case, but it can happen. The leadership and sales staff is extremely cognizant of this and works diligently to avoid it.

Pros
Smallish company that tries to treat employees and clients like family. Trying to provide employees with advancement and benefits like profit sharing.
Cons
Not very good communication. Employees are expected to read the minds of management and do the jobs in the way that they had "expected" them to be done.
Continue readingIt is unfortunate that your experience with Titus was not favorable. As hard as we try, we cannot be everything to everyone. Our constant encouragement to all our team members is to follow their dreams and goals. As much as we hope to be part of the future of all our team members it is not always going to be the case, sometimes we are not the perfect fit. When this is the case our encouragement is to follow that dream. We hope you have landed somewhere that does meet your expectations and can help you reach your goals. All the best to you.
