    Great atmosphere, awesome location. Casual work environment and everyone is extremely nice

    Work could be somewhat boring at times

    Pros

    We were providing voices to individuals who needed them by supplying them with communication devices. Providing a great service.

    Cons

    Careless merger of two companies. Tobii built up a solid team which made the company profitable and then destroyed it by taking over one of our competitors.

    Advice to Management

    Don't let a good thing slip away!

    Pros

    Great products, employees care about who they help and what they do for the customers

    Cons

    You are not cared about as an employee from the higher ups. It starts from the top, and the top couldn't care less. You are literally a number. Lots of negativity and office politics, back stabbing, etc, not a lot of advancement opportunity. A lot of turnover and unhappy managers, which translates into unhappy employees.

    Advice to Management

    You are going to lose all your good employees! Train management (including executive level and HR!) on how to properly address and treat/retain their employees. Treat them as they matter, and they will make all the difference.

    Pros

    Great group of people working with who really care about the people they help. They go above and beyond to help and be there for device users.

    Cons

    Didn't care about the sacrifices and overtime worked to do job. Dealing with the timelines of insurance. Company makes reps sign contracts saying company isn't responsible if something happens to the rep on the road. Very low commission for a medical device company.

    Advice to Management

    Be true to your roots of what made you a great company. President really cared about employees back in the day and that needs to be communicated currently.

    Pros

    The employees are amazing! Have the patients best interest at heart. Product does amazing things for users. Managers have awesome ideas and do their best to help employees with a good work life balance.

    Cons

    President is so out of touch with staff. She is arrogant and doesn't listen to the staff or managers. She hides information, is not honest and has no credibility with the US team. President does not I still the TOBII culture with those in NA.

    Advice to Management

    Take a close look at the president. You have employees that will give you everything they have got. You are losing them and with that the strength of the NA market.

    Some very dedicated people that cared about the company.

    Very bad senior management. Company lacked focus and direction.

    New Senior Management and renewed vision and focus.

    Very fulfilling work by helping those in need that do not have a voice

    Low compensation and sales are dependent upon government funding

    Increase compensation and improve healthcare benefits

    Pros

    The work that the company does to help its client base is something to truly be proud of. Work-life balance is improving. Morale is high. Welcomes creative input.

    Cons

    Smaller company so compensation is still lower than it should be for certain positions and opportunity for advancement is relatively low.

    Advice to Management

    Continue to pay attention to the staff morale. Employees are there because of the work they do for the customer, but that shouldn't be taken for granted.
