I worked at Toll Brothers full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I only worked for Toll Brothers for a short time. I loved the company, the homes, the homebuyers and the employees. Everyone was super nice and helpful. The benefits were also very good. Felt like a family.

    Cons

The commission structure was low for a sales associate. Training should be right when you start not a couple months later. I was laid off after working a short time, due to budget cuts.

I worked at Toll Brothers full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Toll has shown a consistent inclination to promote from within it's ranks allowing those that have work the hardest and contributed the most towards company goals to be the beneficiary of those efforts

    Cons

Monday night meetings are mandatory part of culture nationwide though rumors are they will be eliminated or optional in the near future

    Advice to Management

Pay more attention to the feedback and perspective of local management. After all the development and homebuilding universe does not begin and end in the Philadelphia headquarters and those in California, Colorado, Texas, and the Carolinas may just know what works better in their marketplace than Barry Depew.

I have been working at Toll Brothers full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

While many builders closed their doors and left buyers stranded, Toll Brothers struggled through by delivering well built homes and keeping their focus on the future.
The Sales offices are well oiled machines which is reflected in the Builder of the Year 2014 Award.
    Several educational opportunities

    Cons

    Negative Outlook

    Pros

You are in the field, working with the parent company, Toll Brothers.

    Cons

TBI Mortgage's upper management is run by sadists, only worried about their own jobs. Felt like area reviews were meant to break down and humiliate instead of looking for good ideas. No input on the people working under you, but you are judged on their performance. No concept of it is like to work in the field. Horrible experience, don't ever work there. You will need to start taking anti depressants or Xanax every day.

    Advice to Management

Toll Brothers management should take a hard look at TBI CEO and his minions.

    Pros

The company has great people to work with and great benefits.

    Cons

The company needs to update there scheduling systems and constantly continue training.

    Advice to Management

Just a reminder to share the wealth and knowledge with the staff.

    Pros

Great support from other sales team members. Beautiful homes, fun atmosphere, great upper-management, nice opportunity to work for some of the best sales people.

    Cons

Project Managemers are given too much control over the sales office. I was ripped-off on commission at least once.

    Advice to Management

Sales staff needs direct and open communication with upper-management.
