I have been working at Tommy Hilfiger full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Excellent place to work. The company cares so much about it's employees. The parent company (PVH) offers classes regularly throughout the year on anything from time management to presentation skills to excel courses. When you are brought on as a new hire, no matter what level, you are started with a training program and given the opportunity to have 30 minute meet-and-greets with senior level management so you can better understand the business. Tommy has really fun Holiday and Summer parties where all employees look forward to attending! Not to mention the new office at 285 Madison is beautiful and in a great location for dining, transportation, shopping, and more.

    Cons

Lower compensation that I was offered at other companies, but being happy in my role is priceless!

    Advice to Management

Continue the good work - listen to employees at all levels for new initiatives.

I worked at Tommy Hilfiger full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Awesome Benefits, Great Atmosphere, Good Feedback, Excellent Place To Build Relationships. My co-workers were WONDERFUL people!

    Cons

Only thing I didn't like about my job was that it wasn't exactly what I wanted to do. Difficult to switch teams due to lack of openings and longevity of employment.

    Advice to Management

Nothing much, my direct managers were honest and fair people. I would have stayed had the position involved more Marketing related work.

I enjoyed working here. The clothes were well-constructed and the discount was great. 50% on items that I could wear to work.

    Cons

The low wages were disappointing. We did make double on some holidays, though.

I worked at Tommy Hilfiger full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Only thing I can think of is lots of PTO.

    Cons

This was the worst place I've ever worked. If you enjoy feeling horrible about yourself, staying until 10pm, being belittled, and no one caring about you as an employee and as a human being, then this place is for YOU!!!! The amount of blood, sweat, and tears I put into this job is laughable compared to the horrible management I received. I never got any positive reinforcement. If I did something I was told to do, another person would get mad at me for it. You get yelled at if you ask too many questions. They expect you to read their mind. I dreaded it from the minute I woke up in the morning until I could leave. I went to HR multiple times and NOTHING ever came from it. Trust me, this place is chaos, the management is horrible, they treat their employees terribly - run as far away as Tommy Hilfiger Corp as you possibly can.

    Advice to Management

Your employees are people too. They have personal lives and they work hard. Treat them with respect.
