    Pros

Great Networking! Everyone wants a cute haircut and color, so they go to one of the most famous names out there. Coworkers were nice and the potential to move up is definitely there if you make the effort

    Cons

Loads of drama. Too many managers for too few employees. We had five managers for a staff of 20 (including them) and that was so excessive.

I have been working at Toni & Guy full-time

    Pros

If you'd like unparalleled access to top management TONI&GUY is the place for you. Leadership is extremely active and hardworking. There is a great work life balance, which is uncommon in an age where you're typically required to be on call 24/7.
    Bonus Perks:
TONI&GUY offers stunning workspaces which has actually helped relive stress.
    Female Leadership

    Cons

it is extremely important to have a solid foundation in your field before beginning a career at TONI&GUY. Guidance and training is readily available, but you should be ready to contribute to the team from day one. If you are a recent college graduate, consider interning with this company before you apply for a position.

I worked at Toni & Guy full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Structure, Education, Innovation, and Passion are all easily found at Toni&Guy. From assistants to senior stylists everyone has a track and a goal, and the teamwork to achieve is the glue of each and every salon.

    Cons

Ownership of client information is solely that of the company, making it difficult to transition out if you desire to do so. Part time employment also not an option, and the assistant program is very demanding of time, while not necessarily very rewarding financially (but worth it, once it has been completed).

    Advice to Management

Management does what they can to cultivate goal-minded stylists and technicians, and they have a regimented formula to follow that cannot really be improved upon. That said, I think some schedule flexibility would be beneficial, instead of the "40 hours is the minimum, but more is better" mentality.

    Pros

Education is a big deal in this company.

    Cons

The hours can be very long. The internship needs to be explained a little more than what is exactly being said. Management seems to be a little non-existent at times.

I worked at Toni & Guy full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Fun working Environment, Free Hair Care

    Cons

Unrealistic Expectations with little to no support from upper management. No advertising budget and high expectations for enrollment, glass ceiling, no where to go.

    Advice to Management

if you are going to set standards for students stick to them, allowing them to act crazy because you are scared they will drop out is not acceptable. Spend money on advertising, sometimes you have to spend money to make money.
