    Pros

Amazing education and Co workers. Other than that this place sucks long term

    Cons

    Advice to Management

    None...they never take advice.

I worked at Toni & Guy part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great discount on products and services. Learning about hair, that's really it for receptionist. Depending on location, you can have a good lunch.

    Cons

Okay pay, standing up all day, corporate is terrible. Not all salon coordinators are fair. You are really lucky if you get a great team. But that's rare.

    Advice to Management

Receptionist aren't replaceable, some of us tried our hardest, and valued the job, but when you tell your team that somebody can easily be trained for your spot isn't helpful.

    Pros

Fun, fast paced enviornment. Great discount on products and services.

    Cons

Pay is not the best and raises take a while if you're lucky to get one at all.

    Pros

Education and corporate salon so you always have someone to reach out to if issues arise.

    Cons

A high end salon at a mall just doesn't really work anymore.

I worked at Toni & Guy full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Structure, Education, Innovation, and Passion are all easily found at Toni&Guy. From assistants to senior stylists everyone has a track and a goal, and the teamwork to achieve is the glue of each and every salon.

    Cons

Ownership of client information is solely that of the company, making it difficult to transition out if you desire to do so. Part time employment also not an option, and the assistant program is very demanding of time, while not necessarily very rewarding financially (but worth it, once it has been completed).

    Advice to Management

Management does what they can to cultivate goal-minded stylists and technicians, and they have a regimented formula to follow that cannot really be improved upon. That said, I think some schedule flexibility would be beneficial, instead of the "40 hours is the minimum, but more is better" mentality.
