I worked at Tony Roma's part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Easy going company to work for. Met some really great people while I was working there.

    Cons

The one I worked at is now close, but the GM was lazy. Pay checks would be late sometimes and you had to pick them up, no automatic deposits.

    Pros

Typical server job- fast paced multitasking job.

I worked at Tony Roma's part-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Flexible schedule, fun people, good food so easy to promote, great co workers

    Cons

Waitresses and waiters by nature of the job cannot get a 40 hour or full time schedule. Therefore they cannot qualify for benefits. Not everyone is a student w a part time job. Some of us need benefits. Also, geez..... more consistency in Management. too many manager changes. Makes for an unstable feeling work environment. Favoritism is rampant.

    Advice to Management

Don't move managers from store to store so frequently, post schedules earlier than the night before

    Pros

They are a great, Small Company that takes the time to help out each partner with their needs. I enjoyed working here because of the atmosphere, relationships developed and my scope of work.

    Cons

While there are a few all I will say is that they are/were in a very long transition period. This makes job security almost non existent, little to no employee recognition and very tense. They have all the makings to get back to their "glory days" but it will take some time.

    Advice to Management

Set clearer goals and outcomes for your employees. Make sure that open and honest communication is a priority and you'll be sure to satisfy your current and future employees
