Pros
The environment and energy of coworkers. A very fun and open place to serve. The money is good because most of the time people come to TopGolf to celebrate something. So they don't mind shelling out upwards of $250 to have a good time. This is good for you, the server because that is more money in your pocket. In terms of serving it is actually one of the easier server jobs in the industry. TopGolf gives you plenty of resources as a server. They provide the entire floor with 3-5 drink runners a night that handle fountain and alcoholic drinks. So what does that mean for you? You get to spend more time with your guests upselling them on food and alcohol! It really is a good system when you have the right amount of people per demand. The people you work with are very energetic. It is a very young and enthusiastic group of people at TopGolf. But that is what makes it fun, you will make friends at the top golf. Because there are so many different people you will see on a daily shift, it is super easy to get acquainted and friendly with your coworkers.
Cons
The management can be spotty at best, the shifts can belong, and politics is an ongoing tool for advancement. The management at Topgolf is not great. The managers are metrically focused instead of employee-centric. It shows in the way they communicate with the bay hosts, bartenders, and caddies. There will be times where you might have a completely dead section, which is very rare, and they will not cut you because "we might get a pop." Also, the managers tend to play favorites and routinely give certain people prime sections and routinely give other people lower-earning sections. You see, when TopGolf is full which is on Friday and Saturday EVERYBODY makes money. But when it is not full or a floor is not full, you want to be in a good section to make sure you make money. What the managers would do is, make sure you were in a good section, in the middle or somewhere close, so you can make money. I have on both sides of it, so I know it is true. The favoritism is definitely a part of the culture and if you play your cards wrong you won't make money.

Doesn't RecommendNeutral OutlookDisapproves of CEOI worked at Topgolf full-time
Pros
Topgolf provided a lot of opportunity for growth. Very much an equal opportunity establishment as far as initial hiring goes.
Cons
Professionalism was not always present at this establishment. Favoritism and special treatment were common and managers often fraternized with hourly employees in not-so-ethical ways.

I worked at Topgolf full-time for more than a year
Pros
Pretty easy in terms of serving jobs, all bay hosts have to do is interact with the customers in their section and input their orders into their tablet; food and drinks are ran to the tables by other workers. Usually pretty fun/interesting people working at Topgolf too, I'll give them props for having a pretty good hiring process that actually does hire people who get along with each other for the most part.
Cons
Shifts are pretty long, and you'll constantly be on your feet. And it's gonna get hot/cold depending on the time of year since most of the venue is outside. Management can also kinda suck, but it varies person to person; I've had some really great managers too.
