Growing and learning. They are always open to course correct and put an emphasis on putting people first!

Pros
Take Adavantage of the knowledge they share with yo. Amazing CEO Great Social Business
Cons
You can only stay there for two years tops; they only care about your needs until you have something to say. If they ask what´s your honest opinion about something DON´T SHARE IT, they´ll use it against you!!! They don´t really have an idea of what HR is (it´s a hot mess). Management lacks experience managing tough conversations, promotions, and budget... They´re governed by emotions, (lots of EGO´s to deal with).

Pros
They practice what they preach about creating boundaries for work-life balance
Cons
Total compensation is about average, but not leading the industry

Pros
Working here allows me to have the flexibility I need for my family with small kids. I'm trusted to get my job done well without being micromanaged or questioned about stepping away for personal matters.
Cons
Consulting is hard, and that's no different here.

Pros
Torrent has a culture that can't be compared to other companies. As a result of the annual employee survey, one of the most commonly words used to describe the company is "family". When people ask me what I love about my job, I always say the people. The people-first attitude is not just talk, I truly have felt supported from day 1. This sounds like a lie, because really who likes the people you work with, but it truly is exciting to show up to that first call on Monday morning and see your friends faces. Throughout my time at Torrent, I've seen them go from providing basic medical benefits to listening to employee feedback and adding benefits such as increased paid time off for maternity and paternity leave, 401k matching, and an employee bonus plan. Covid support has been phenomenal, from providing extra financial support to parents to gifting everyone in the company a subscription to the Calm app. It's one thing to ask for feedback, but leadership actually makes changes every single year based on that feedback. I don't know of any other workplace that has provided such support for its people and can't recommend Torrent enough!
Cons
Consulting work is not easy, but the thing that makes Torrent different is the support you feel from those you work with.

Pros
Torrent is the first company I've worked at where the core values are evident in the actions of people at all levels of the company. Torrent's focus on "people first" has been very evident during this pandemic. Torrent has provided both emotional and financial COVID 19 support to employees, rolled out an employee bonus plan, and put on many events and provided resources to help employees balance a very difficult year. I can proudly say that I consider every person at Torrent not only a friend, but part of my larger family. Everyone shows up daily ready to raise up and support people on their teams and across the company. I am so glad that three years ago I took a leap and joined this amazing company.
Cons
Just like any other smaller companies, changes can be slow to see. Torrent does a good job of listening to its employees and being transparent in its decisions. While the employees bonus plan may be a bit lower than anticipated, the emphasis on reducing employee burnout and ensuring long term success make it all worthwhile. I can't wait to see what we can all build together.

Pros
This company really cares about its people. Throughout the pandemic, they have protected everyone's job and are providing both emotional and financial support to their employees. This care isn't just related to the pandemic though. Torrent is a different kind of company, one where you find yourself thinking of your colleagues as family members and putting their happiness and growth above all else when making decisions. The commitment at Torrent to social impact (specifically providing opportunities to all), well-being, and the growth & development of its people is like nothing I've ever experienced before. I came across this company by chance, but joining Torrent is the best career decision I've ever made. I've been here 5 years and looking forward to many more!
Cons
As with many start-ups, things can happen more slowly than you would like. I am happy to say though that Torrent put in 401k matching last year and have just rolled out a bonus program for 2021. Being the first year of the bonus program, the target percentage is conservative, but I know the reason is so we don't overwork our employees and that the plan is to grow that percentage every year. Excited to see that happen in the next few years!

Pros
I've been at Torrent for over 5 years now and over that time I've seen us strive to develop into a world-class company. Since that time I've seen us evolve our business model and also continue to add employee benefits: healthcare, 401k matching, additional paternity/maternity leave, and recently this year we launched our employee performance bonus plan. I'm excited to see how this benefit continues to evolve and grow. I also think the leaders at Torrent care about the people and the Torrent Guides and are constantly taking into consideration people first decisions while balancing the execution of the day-to-day of the business.
Cons
Still a small company, so we definitely don't have all of the answers and there are many areas of the company that are still growing and maturing. Definitely, a place where a few years from now folks can look back and take a sense of pride in what they helped build. Some folks who want a more fully baked and prescriptive path haven't always lasted here.

Pros
I can honestly say that here at Torrent, everyone is treated like family. Every thought, idea, and goal identified by each and every Torrent Guide is nurtured, and prioritized. What makes this "place" special is that as an individual, not only is professional growth fostered, but a development towards personal growth as well. At Torrent, the culture goes beyond making the world a better place for clients with high-end software solutions - It starts from within; Cultivating an environment that molds every employee into the best version of themselves, leading to a sense of leadership which liberates the community, and the true meaning of the business of business. If you are looking to be a part of something bigger than yourself, and build your career the right way to reach your full potential - The, Torrent is the place for you.
Cons
I truly can not give any cons. Other than the fact, that this Company is a Platinum-tier Consulting Partner, consistent hard work, and dedication time comes with all of the perks and values.

Pros
I love working at Torrent first and foremost because of the leadership team, from the top down. They truly have servant hearts and care more about people than profits. I have never seen the level of transparency and honesty that I see at Torrent. Second would be culture. Because we are an impact driven company that values people over profits, they strive to help employees grow in every aspect of life, not just professionally. Examples include growth and development, wellness, and volunteering to name a few. In addition, they are very intentional about every employee we hire to ensure they fit our culture and this really shows day to day. Lastly are the benefits. Torrent has multiple medical benefit options, the best dental plan available, 401k matching and several other extra benefits that really make a difference. For a mid-size company, benefits are best of class.
Cons
There really are no cons to working at Torrent. Best place I have ever worked.
