I worked at Torrent Power full-time

    Pros

Good and distributed work load. On time salary.

    Cons

There are HR people placed at every work location but they are just waste of manpower and become sarkaari types...Keeps on doing Humiliation resource management... Neither they know any thing now have attitude to learn .Rather inserting their Nose in operational back biting....Can justify their salaries in better manner. Low Appreciation of annual performance. Some of the TOP management guys are so scared of public, they should rather take VRS and sit their home rather than cheating Mr.Mehta.
Technicians need to dealt properly in various departments. Have lesser work load and even denial mode . God save TPL agra....Overall Torrent is good name to join.

    Advice to Management

    Pl change the TOP guns.

As it operates in public domain, there is hell pressure of public.
If your department is Vigilance and Recovery.. then only God will help you.
Very Slow monetary and Professional Growth.
Shifts..there is no proper end time of shift..if a fault comes by the end of your shift, you have to deal that fault by spending extra hours and the worst part is you won't get any Overtime Pay.
Engineers should deal carefully with technicians.
