I worked at Tory Burch as an intern (More than a year)

    Pros

I never went to get coffee, I worked on real projects and learned so much. Most internships are not paid and I was paid. I created great relationships with the people I worked with that helped me a lot throughout the rest of my career. Tory Burch is very involved with her own brand.

    Cons

They are very weird about hiring after internships. They usually put you on a "temp position" for awhile before hiring you on full time.

give interns access to more events and have them participate in more meetings and calls. have them sit with you and watch you work

I have been working at Tory Burch full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Compensation, work life balance, opportunity for
advancement is all there. The feeling that you are actually working for an individual gives you a sense of pride in the work that you do.

    Cons

Honestly not many, everyone is very welcoming and warm. Upper management could be a little more approachable, otherwise no cons

    Advice to Management

It's really great feeling like we work for Tory herself. I really hope she never sells the company.

I worked at Tory Burch (More than a year)

    Pros

Great compensation, great opportunity, I loved my manager and the people who trained me.

    Cons

It was difficult to discipline problematic employees. The human resources person I worked with was very helpful but at times, we struggled to agree on a course of action.

    Advice to Management

There wasn't a lot of consistency in direction between Director of Retail and Loss Prevention
