    Pros

Plenty of overtime which you will need as they pay far below the going wage. The only other pro I can think of is a couple of really nice employees I met.

    Cons

Unprofessional, no systems, poor leadership, dirty hot work environment. This place is run like a mom and pop shop, this is why they continue to lose customers.

    Advice to Management

Hire qualified employees, and pay a competitive wage

    Pros

Nice people; decent benefits and salary

    Cons

Top heavy management after years of laying off the worker bees. Lack of opportunites for advancement or lateral moves. Toshiba companies and departments work in silos and do not collaborate for the good of Toshiba as a whole. No long term vision; too much emphasis on immediate cost cutting instead of long term plans.

    Advice to Management

Focus on long-term planning and employee development instead of micro managing every project.

    Pros

    Solid heritage and great brand.
    Great products.
    Good people in the trench.

    Cons

Only track units, and not financials.
Lack of communication and sharing basic information about success / losses. How is the company doing?
Lack of culture - showing that the team has the same objectives and direction of how to win.
Cost culture with no idea How to Grow Business.
Sales Team treated like Us v Them - Culture Does Not Allow Bringing on New Partners
Japan HQ treated like Us v Them - No Unity.
Not a diverse Work Force, lacks youth.

    Advice to Management

Speak more openly, need at least quarterly Town Halls. Show what businesses and channels are growing. Right now, it looks like we are asleep at the wheel.

    Pros

Good people here in the US

    Cons

headquarters does not understand current technology trends outside of their own domains. Do not understand cloud for example. Everything is project focused with no investment in employees or technology. Very slow moving. Fear of rocking the boat, as Japanese employees want lifetime employment and a consulting job afterwards. No risk, no reward. The world is only as far as the shore of Japan, no understanding of Silicon Valley.

    Advice to Management

Get with technology outside your domain. Get rid of clueless management structure. Go all in on the areas you want to focus on. That means investment! Not zero budget and magic via sales of something you don't have.
