I have been working at Toshiba America Info full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

co-workers are open and honest. Feeling of one-for-all trying to build the business back up. Opportunity to build systems and processes that benefit the company.

    Cons

semi-short sighted financial view. Consumed with making this month's numbers. Will allow work on future apps/solutions but only when forced to do so by a customer's request. Afraid of failure...so no risk/chance taking.

    Advice to Management

Trust your employees and roll out a work remotely policy. The factory went to China over a decade ago....you don't need to see a butt in a chair to prove work is getting done.
