I have been working at Toshiba full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

During my time here we have updated products for various product lines being phased out, without my hands being tied by money. The new products Engineered today are better in performance and quality than the past products. The company is always asking for new ideas for better ways to offer our customers the best product possible.

    Cons

The use of Distributors and Reps as the main sales force for the product is hindering the product sales. All product designs and ideas are funneled thru the office manager and he has lost his grasp on product marketing, that does not exist here, Management want to sell all of the products without getting their hands dirty in selling or servicing the products.

    Advice to Management

The products being produced here are top of the market products with top of the market pricing, sometimes you must get your hands dirty with the sales and service. No sales force = -2% market share. Replace the hindering force and you will thrive.
