That's going to be a negative ghost rider....

      Pros

exposure to the industry (you wont be allowed to work in for another three years if they axe you (noncompete)). Really great dress code, super relaxed. If your making money, its a fun place to be. You have to learn to put up with A LOT of BS, makes you stronger, like going to GYM.

      Cons

COVID killed book, management took back customers they had given, axed me via email as I worked from home. Boys club, lots of frat boys. you have to take calls 24/7, 1am? taking calls. 3am? taking calls. This is more of an industry thing rather than just TQL. You are heavily encouraged to lie lie lie, sell what you don't have, make crap up. smoke and mirror your customers and take them for all they are worth. management was mostly unable to provide alternatives to managing issues or tackling objections without the use of deception. No matter what kind of track record you have, no matter how valuable you think you are, your never safe. your never NOT on the chopping block. they rip up your accounts and hand them out to people they like. makes the office look like its "growing" and producing "quality" brokers, so they are more then happy to do thing. you dont get paid enough for all the crap you have to do, every year they take more away from their brokers so they can set up "specialized departments" and axe your pay. Growth is limited to how well you pass the "BBQ Test". Zero work like balance. Zero. Work. Life. Balance. Its not worth it, I've seen successful brokers who have worked there 5+ years get axed when business flips.

The moment you look at this place as "a job", just quit now

      Pros

Just as the headline says, the moment you look at this as a "job" and not as a career of building your own business...you're dead in the water. The entire time I've been here I haven't seen one person come through who truly has put the work in not make it. But putting the work in is hard. It requires you to wake up at 445 in the morning EST and work til 7pm at night. Yeah the job requires you to work 8-5, but if you really want to make it you need to be there way before then. Just think about it, if you're just starting to make calls by 9am, 10am, etc...your prospects/customers have already been working most of them for about 3 hours by then. You need to be there to get them early when they are experiencing problems with their current guys they are using....and unfortunately that's not going to be at 10am in the morning. So you put long hours in yes, and you bust your butt to get to that level of success...but when you do it's all worth it. I see a lot of reviews on here about favoritism and "all the good accounts are gone", that's bull. Even if every single member of management hates you...if you're busting your butt and bringing them thousands of dollars...they will keep you. You will be rewarded. You're there to make money and if you want it to come working an 8-5 schedule, just quit now. Because you don't want it bad enough. The money is there though for those who want it and are willing to work like they've never worked before. This has easily been the hardest I've ever worked in a job, but it's also been the most rewarding job I've ever had as well. The reality of you being able to make $200,000 and $300,000 (or even more) a year is a very real possibility, but you have to put in the work.

      Cons

Work life balance is hard. If you have a family, it is hard. They have to understand that at least for the first 2 years or so, it's going to be long hours and you dedicating a lot of your mind to this job. So if you're content with 35k a year and you would rather just spend time with your family and have something that is comfortable during those first two years, go work somewhere else. This job isn't for you.

      Fun, but frustrating

      Pros

Very fun place to work. There is a good work atmosphere. There is a lot of room for growth as you aren't assigned a region. Upper management is well respected. Technology is the best in the industry.

      Cons

      1) They will hire anyone who walks through the door, college degree or not. No standards for hiring, which results in poor quality and high turnover. 2) The "draw" commission structure is very frustrating. You can be above goal every week, and you will not earn any commission your entire first year. For most customers, you only earn 20% commission, not 25%. You WILL lose out on a lot of extra money because of the draw structure, and a lot of times, never see any of the money that you made for the company. For your entire first year, you could make more money working hourly at McDonald's (fact). 3) There is absolutely no incentive to move up in management. There is no pay increase at all for becoming a manager (unless you manage the entire office), just increased time and responsibility. This is why a lot of successful people from this company leave, because other companies will offer them better management opportunity. 4) Little work-life balance at all, but that just comes with a logistics job

      Pros

Open atmosphere teamwork is highly encouraged they do celebrate your success. CEO is very supportive and is very interactive with teams. You can have success with hard work dedication.

      Cons

Long hours, can be highly stressful when things do not go according to plan. You you to be available 24/7 365 to take care of your customers needs. Work life balance it's hard to maintain. Hard to build a book of business when a company has data breaches. You are the middle man between drivers customers and your broker. A lot of cold calling and numbers game. There's a lot of information thrown at you can be overwhelming at sometimes but that's how the industry is things are constantly changing
