I have been working at Total Safety full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Good people on the small team I am part of.

    Cons

Most toxic & oppressive culture I have ever endured. Toxicity is driven by CEO, who 'leads' by instilling fear and threatening to fire employees regularly. Extremely high turnover, especially in corporate office, and tense environment in the corporate office. Expensive benefits that aren't all that great and below average 401K matching.

I worked at Total Safety part-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

Fast way to make alot of money Good way to travel the country on the companies dime Good way to build up your refinery expertise

    Cons

Long hours, low pay. Horrible to No benefit package. Merit raises are non-existent You will never become a full time employee, unless you weasel your way into management. They up charge the customer for everything from Labor rate, hotel, rental car and flights. Only to pocket the majority of the money. Giving the employee a tid-bit. Your expendable as an employee. Part time-temp i believe is the term.

    Pros

Company has shown there is a major commitment to building on it's employees. Management has proven that they are wanting to provide best practices for their employees and customers.

    Cons

Tendency to try and streamline operations too much sometimes, causing unnecessary frustrations to employees. Have seen great improvement in this recently.
