I have been working at Town + Country Resources as a contractor

    Pros

Supportive and want to see you succeed
    Connections with great potential employers
Will help you to develop your presentation so that you shine

    Cons

Market a bit slow/ not a lot of job offer coming forth lately - may be being affected by websites/ apps such as Care.com, Taskrabbit, etc scooping up potential client opportunities

    Advice to Management

T + C far exceeds the quality and reliability that comes with the service websites/ apps -- so T + C keep on going! You provide a great service of a whole other higher level!

I worked at Town + Country Resources part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Their on call service kept me busy between nanny positions and most of the families I was placed with I liked. My last placement was with a wonderful family. I loved the little girl I cared for.

    Cons

Recuiters are not very helpful or polite. I think they are under a lot pressure to get people placed, but they really need to work on supporting the nannies and others the place and respectul. I don't care for the placement with google employees, most have not been appreciative or personal--they act like you're a robot.

    Advice to Management

Record calls of your recruiters and make sure they are always polite and courteous. Follow up with the people you place and ask how things are going. Show appreciation. After all without them you wouldn't have a business.

    Pros

This company is very thorough in matching employees to families. They are also supportive of employees.

    Cons

The location in San Francisco is a little difficult to find. Parking in San Francisco can also be a hassle.

    Advice to Management

Continue to provide a network for employees to connect with one another.

    Pros

    Support of their nannies
    Very high pay
    Good Communication with nannies

They solicit the most high profile families in the Bay Area and as a result the pay is great

    Cons

You still have to work as a nanny for a specific family and that family could be great or not so great

    Advice to Management

I have no advice to Towne and Country. I think they are professional and really support their nannies in placement.
