Pros
Flexible Hours. The kids at the camp are actually pretty fun to interact with. There's some bads eggs, but overall enjoyed my experience there. Day to day management of activities was iffy, but we used that to our advantage to create better plans for the kids. The higher-ups were responsible enough to have daily meetings for us to express our grievances and put in the effort to fix our complaints.
Cons
Part of our pay was trimmed by the hiring company. Hearing that other local day camps paid better and had fewer kid troubles was annoying to find out about.

Pros
Work/life balance is excellent. Health and other benefits are good as expected from a local government.
Cons
Pay could be a lot better. The point of a local government is to serve the people of the area. And to obtain the talent needed to properly do this, money needs to go to the pockets of the employees. This town has the means but needs the will to pay the employees they want to keep.
- Current Employee★★★★★
Pros
Benefits Training opportunities Pay is relatively good
Cons
Upper management in my department and in several departments are unqualified
