I worked at TracFone full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Good health insurance, 401k and time off

    Cons

Disorganized, not family oriented. They make employees travel from one day to the other, lack of communication. They think employees are slaves. Closing hours on different departments are ridiculous. Very disappointed, things are way different than they tell you at the interview.

I have been working at TracFone full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

New management has shown promise in terms of the direction the company appears to be heading in.

    Cons

Pockets of the old culture still remain.

    Advice to Management

You need to clean house and get rid of the old, negative culture that continues to bring the entire company down.

I have been working at TracFone full-time

    Pros

Free phone service, discounts on airtime, discounts on phones every two years, good health insurance, good pay.

    Cons

The salary system is broken. Employees are forced to work 50-60 hours a week with no overtime because they are “salary”; however, they do not receive comp time for working additional hours and are forced to use their vacation or PTO when they are sick.
No work/life balance due to forced OT.
HR only sides with upper management.
No option to work from home.
    Poor communication between teams.
    No on-the-job training.

    Advice to Management

Treat your employees like humans. HR needs to represent the little guy.
Take time to teach and train.
Quit focusing on titles. Titles don’t make the person.

I have been working at TracFone full-time

    Pros

Good salary, amazing servers, very competitive, high-end technologies, decent cafeteria, innovation is starting to come

    Cons

This is basically the american version of an IT sweatshop. They hire people from India and it basically feels like that on the inside. Management is evil, vicious, and is HEARTLESS. Avoid this company, do not even consider applying and there is also some very questionable people in this company. Do they even do background and drug checks continuously? This company has absolutely no room to get promoted. Avoid like the plague.

    Advice to Management

PLEASE don't let a manager become god and take full control of numerous employees lives. Focus on caring for your employees so they become very productive for you.
