My manager, Leo Paulet, is probably the best manager I every had. The staff are fun to work with and the value of the products they sell are very good.

I worked at Tractor Supply full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

If you find a great team and a store with good management, it’s a great place to work. Good place for young adults to realize the importance of hard work. Labor intensive.

    Cons

If you are at a store with bad management, it trickles down the line and everyone is more stressed. Labor intensive.

    Advice to Management

Work hard with your employees and they will want to work hard with you.

I worked at Tractor Supply full-time

    Pros

Fairly regular schedule, pay above average (for Florida), laid back dress codes, never a dull moment, merchandise sets are not too close together (time wise) and unless on cashier status- ability to move about the store inside and outside. I really enjoyed it during my time spent and would suggest employment to any driven person seeking a solid employer.

    Cons

Physically Demanding, at a higher volume store TRUCKS of stuff all the time it seems, last minute orders for multiple bags of feed from regular customers (average of 50 pounds plus each bag). DM training/ inspection visits are a real downer, due to lack of staffing and unlimited questions.

    Advice to Management

Having the labor hours for an early morning stock crew is well worth the cost.
