    Pros

    Opportunities to work with the directors of the company who are incredibly experienced and knowledgeable.

    Cons

    Decision making concentrated at top which can cause bottlenecks.

    Advice to Management

    Find ways to reduce bottlenecks.

    - Depending on the office and their previous experiences, interns may be given a lot of responsibility and interesting work
    - The company's small size means that everyone can work on a variety of projects
    - Good company culture

    - Lack of training.
    - Senior management seems distant and needs to provide more structure and direction

    The chance to develop in a new area - it's not too hard to get in, and they will give you a variety of tasks

    No structured training program. Widely diversified firm with limited focus on core expertise areas.

    Advice to Management

    Rationalists service offering, hiring more experienced consulting staff and implement a professional training program. Improve marketing efforts.

    -Local leadership can often be quite good.
    -Opportunity for lots of responsibility on projects very early on.

    Cons

    -No training provided whatsoever.
    -Unaccountable leadership.
    -Poor compensation.
    -Poor vision for the company and low value-add work.

    Pros

    Can learn a lot when working in the Shanghai office depending on who you get to work with and your Chinese language ability.

    Cons

    I don't know much Chinese, although it improved over my internship period. Therefore, it could have been a better learning experience with more language background from the beginning. For example, if I could do research in Chinese, I would have learnt a lot more about Chinese market.

    Advice to Management

    More attention to interns would be appreciated.
